ALA President Karen Zadoyan met with the UK Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Judith Farnworth

President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (ALA), Coordinator of the Secretariat of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition Karen Zadoyan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Ms Judith Margaret Farnworth. The meeting took place in the office of the Armenian lawyers’ Association in Yerevan.

The main theme of discussion at the meeting was of the fight against corruption in Armenia and steps aimed to reduce corruption.

First, Mr. Karen Zadoyan introduced to the attention of Ambassador Information about the main directions of ALA activities, as well as the package of the most important anti-corruption mechanisms and reforms proposed to the Government by CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia. During the meeting the parties also discussed issues of further cooperation, including cooperation in the framework of the fight against corruption as well.

H.E. Ms Judith Margaret Farnworth stressed the importance of cooperation with civil society, she said, that the Embassy is interested in fight against corruption.

Mr. Carl Ulbricht, the international expert of ALA participated in the meeting as well.
