Advocate, Board Member of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association Arpine Yeghikyan, in the interview with “Legal Week” program of with Iravaban.net website commented on the Draft Decision on “Uniform Procedure and Conditions for Awarding the Employees from the Award Fund for State Authorities from the 2019 State Budget of the Republic of Armenia.”
Recognizing the necessity of defining a single procedure for the award, Arpine Yeghikyan touched upon the problematic provisions of the planned draft. Particularly, she noted that the specific purpose of the award that is the quality work is not acceptable, because the latter shall be the a minimum standard for remuneration and not a basis for reward
Arpine Yeghikyan also touched upon the periodicity and maximum amount of award, noting that the established regulation provides the opportunity to allocate award for a worker performing “quality work” every month.
