Summary-Suggestions of the Government-Civil Society Organisations Dialogue Forum on the “Current State and Development Prospects of Trade Unions” has been published

On 31 July 2018, the Government-Civil Society Organisations Dialogue forum entitled “Current State and Development Prospects of Trade Unions” was held within the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project. The forum was organised by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia.

The main objective of the forum was discussion of the trade unions’ activities, revealing problems in this area and outlining prospects of trade unions’ development through dialogue. Among the objectives of the forum was the discussion of expediency of implementing reforms in labor relations with the full, comprehensive, mutual protection of workers and employers’ rights, with the involvement of responsible persons of different sectors of the society.

The results of the forum were summarized and based on them, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association elaborated the Summary-Suggestions of the Government-Civil Society Organisations Dialogue Forum on the “Current State and Development Prospects of Trade Unions.”
