On 18 – 22 December, 2017, Miss Syuzanna Soghomonyan, Member of Board of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, participated in the study visit to London organized for Anti-Corruption Champions.
The study visit organized by the International Governance and Risk Institute of the UK was aimed at presenting the best anti-corruption experience of the UK anti-corruption fight implemented by the anti-corruption bodies of the British Government and non-governmental organizations, based on this practice promote the capacity building of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia.
During the visit the members of the Armenian delegation visited the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), of the UK, The National Crime Agency (NCA), the British Parliament, Corruption Watch NGO, as well as other bodies and organizations.
From the Armenian civil society organizations, Mr. Varuzhan Hoktanyan, Programs’ Manager of Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center NGO also participated in the visit to London.
Miss Arpine Hovhannisyan, Vice President of the National Assembly, Ms Siranush Sahakyan, Chairperson of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia, and members of the Ethics Committee Miss Lilit Petrosyan and Mr. Edgar Shatiryan; Mr.Hayk Movsisyan, Deputy Head of the Department of Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the RA and Miss Mariam Galstyan, Head of the Anti-Corruption Policy Development Division of the RA Ministry of Justice were in the Armenian delegation as well.
