A truly independent Anti-Corruption Body should be established in Armenia. A body which is independent not only by title, but by name as well. It should be a body, which enjoys wide public support. Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association said this in the interview with Tert.am. “I think that high officials should be subject to responsibility to major officials and the public sees that the government has the will to fight corruption. Calling to responsibility many small and mid-ranking officials does not mean that there is a serious political will,” Mr. Zadoyan said.
