Within the framework of the “ALA for Modernization” Project, the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” non-governmental organization has initiated the provision of legal advice to the public on a number of legal issues related to the state of emergency. Taking into account the intensity of the questions and the nature of the content, the ALA team of lawyer-experts developed the publication “Question and Answer on Legal Relations arising from the state of emergency” with the aim of informing the public and addressing the restrictions imposed during the state of emergency.
The publication includes clarifications on the normative legal acts (crisis decisions) adopted by the Government of the Republic of Armenia in connection with the new type of coronavirus infection, the restrictions applied and the legal issues of the target groups according to the following:
- 9 measures to neutralize economic consequences, their main regulations,
- Employee rights and issues arising during the restrictions imposed as a result of pandemic.
The answers to the questions were based on the legislation in force as of 10 April, 2020.
To ensure the accessibility and user friendly nature of the the publication, the issues were grouped into separate sections: employment law and anti-crisis program summary.
