Procedure for establishing a Civil Society Platform under Article 366 of the RA-EU CEPA was introduced to the CSO Constructive Dialogue Network

On 23 April, the draft procedure for establishing a Civil Society Platform under Article 366 of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement was introduced the members of the Board of the CSO Constructive Dialogue Network. The introduction was performed online.

Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, Coordinator of the Network’s Secretariat, and Ms Lusine Hakobyan, Coordinator of the Armenian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, President of “Europe in Law Association” NGO,, made opening remarks at the discussion.

In his opening remarks, the ALA President highlighted the representation of NGOs that are members of the CSO Constructive Dialogue Network in the platform to be established and their active participation in the implementation of the CEPA monitoring.

The EaP CSF Armenian National Platform Coordinator in her opening speech, touched upon the key approaches underlying design process of the platform, with the aim of ensuring full and balanced participation of CSO sector in the platform.

Ms Syuzanna Soghomonyan, ALA Lawyer, Coordinator of the first working group of the EaP CSF ANP, presented in detail the draft procedure for the formation of the Platform. The presentation was followed by a discussion on the draft regulations.
