On 28 February, 2020, a seminar-training on “CSO/CSO Coalition Management Subsystem” was organized in the Shirak regional branch of the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO within the framework of the “ALA for Modernization” project. Representatives of 8 non-governmental organizations of Shirak region participated in the training.
Ms Gayane Gevorgyan, Lawyer/Program Coordinator of the Gyumri Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, made an opening speech, thanking the participants for their participation.
At the beginning, the participants were introduced to the key importance of the proper functioning of the CSO management subsystem, the commonly accepted approaches to the organizational structure, after which the remaining topics on the agenda were presented, including: human resource management, NGO financial planning, internal control system, as well as information management and reporting, transparent work within the structure.
At the end of the seminar, the participants asked the speaker their questions, which mainly related to budgeting skills, annual reports, as well as evaluated the newly acquired knowledge, highly appreciating the efficiency and effectiveness of the training. Notably, the trainings will be continuous, seminars-trainings on such topics will be organized regularly, which will contribute to the correct organization of the activities of the regional CSOs and strengthen their capacities.
