On September 18, the regular meeting of the Board of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association (ALA) was held in a hybrid format.
During the meeting, the reports on the Association’s activities for January-September 2026 and on Iravaban.net, an online professional media outlet, were summarized and approved. Issues related to membership and membership fees were also discussed.
The Board addressed issues related to the quality and accessibility of notarial services, as well as the need to enhance the effectiveness of monitoring and oversight of the notarial system.
Issues in the area of services provided by the Cadastre Committee were also discussed, particularly obstacles faced by citizens in the process of state registration of rights to property due to the lack of coordination among judicial, cadastral and community authorities.
The Board decided to map the existing issues in these areas and, based on the findings, undertake practical steps aimed at ensuring the quality, accessibility, accountability and transparency of services.
