Professional service providers are concerned. It is proposed that from July 1, 2025, taxation of several professional works and services will be transferred to the general taxation system. These include legal activities, accounting, head office operations, management consulting services, and several other sectors.
Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan said during parliamentary hearings on amendments to the tax code that the policy change is directed towards the general taxation system, and the policy aim is to strengthen the principles of tax equality.
