Budgetary Educational Program Opportunities Presented to ANAU Students

An awareness seminar of the “Budgets for Citizens” project was held at the Faculty of Agribusiness and Economics of the Armenian National Agrarian University, where future specialists learned about new prospects for building a career in the budgetary field.

At the start of the seminar, Armenian Lawyers Association representative Anahit Mardoyan welcomed the students, presenting the project’s results and the budgets.am platform with its capabilities. Moving on to the budgetary educational program, the representative noted that during the first stream of training, ANAU students showed great activity and expressed hope that students would continue to actively participate in the second stream.

Continuing, Karine Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Development and Research and the project’s budget expert, paid special attention to the peculiarities of budgeting in the agricultural sector, noting that the sector needs innovative and qualified specialists.

The seminar also featured a speech by ANAU student Anghela Kocharyan, who is currently involved in justice sector budget monitoring and analysis, working on the “Implementation of Justice Sector Budget Monitoring and Analysis” sub-grant project implemented by the Center for Economic Law. In her speech, she mentioned that the program became the start of her professional career. According to Anghela, she also started her journey in the project as a student, and now she is part of the professional team.

At the end of the seminar, students actively inquired about program details, training periods, and application procedures.
