ALA participated in the discussion on the implementation progress of the Anti-Corruption Strategy Communication Concept and its resulting actions

From September 30 to October 1 of this year, the Ministry of Justice, with the support of USAID, held an offsite discussion on the progress of implementing the Communication Concept of the 2023-2026 Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Armenia and its resulting actions. Mariam Zadoyan, ALA’s anti-corruption expert, also participated in the discussion.

Led by Deputy Minister of Justice Karen Karapetyan, the progress of work within the framework of the communication concept and its resulting action plan, awareness program proposals implemented by public organizations, and other details related to the communication action plan were discussed.

ALA expert Mariam Zadoyan gave a presentation, introducing the goals of the “BlowtheWhistle, Armenia” program, planned missions, direct and indirect beneficiaries, and expected results.

During the meeting, participants were also presented with existing mechanisms regarding gift acceptance restrictions and recent legislative changes.
