On 3 May, a regional training course with participation of representatives of the local self-government bodies and Regional Administration of Syunik marz was held in Goris City. The training was held within the framework of the nationwide awareness program on communication activities of the Whistle-Blowing System
The experts of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association of presented the objective and types of whistleblowing in general, as well as the azdararir.am unified electronic platform for whistle-blowing.
Practical and group works were organized during the course. During the work, the participants presented their views on the system.
The courses are carried out in the framework of cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with the joint efforts of the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO and the Ministry of Justice.
The objective of the regional trainings conducted within the campaign is to reduce negative perceptions about whistleblowers, raise public awareness about the vital role of the whistleblower, and also emphasize the role of the Unified Electronic Whistleblowing Platform (azdararir.am) in the fight against corruption.
As part of the nationwide campaign, educational events will be held in all regions of Armenia, involving community servants and other representatives.
