On 3 April, 2024, free legal assistance was provided to the persons forcibly displaced from Artsakh currently living in Ararat Marz of the RA. The legal advice services were provided by the project lawyer in the city of Artashat and the village of Getazard in the framework of the “Strengthening of Rights Protection Mechanisms of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Nagorno Karabakh” Project.
During the meeting, Project Lawyer Miss Marianna Avagyan clarified a number of issues of concern to the people of Artsakh, which were mainly related to the social support programs provided by the RA Government to forcibly displaced persons, reimbursements for medical expenses provided by the Ministry of Health, benefits for children under 2 years of age, conditions for the appointment of age pension, regarding the documents confirming the work record and the compensation of the persons who suffered material damage as a result of the war unleashed on 27 September, 2020, based on the documents provided by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Artsakh.
Ms Julietta Arustamyan, Executive Director of “Harmony” Shushi Women NGO, who is the Chairwoman of the Governing Board of the Network of CSOs for the Protection of the Rights of Forcibly Displaced from Nagorno-Krabakh, took part in the meeting as well.
