Today the second Summer School on European Law was launched which will last 5 days. The school was organized by the German Fund for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), the Law Foundation of Armenia and the Armenian Young Lawyers Association NGO.
“For us the fundamental values of democracy, legal state, the protection of human rights and freedom of speech are significant. You must be the next generation of lawyers who must preach and spread the values in Armenia,” Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of AYLA, and Head of Board of Trustees of the Law Foundation of Armenia said.
Ms Nelly Tumasyan, IRZ Armenian Coordinator mentioned in her opening speech that the enthusiasm of the previous year’s participants was so big that they decided to organize the summer school annually.
“This is the 6th event organized jointly by the Armenian Young Lawyers Association. I want to express my gratitude for the cooperation and to wish effective work,” said Nelli Tumasyan.
During the coming days the experts from Germany, as well as local experts will present lectures in the Summer school dedicated to European law and the protection of human rights.
