On 17 November, Prosecutor Garik Abelyan had a meeting-discussion with the pupils of Syunik and Shirak Anti-Corruption Students’ Clubs
Prosecutor Abelyan presented in detail the powers of the Prosecutor’s Office in detecting corruption crimes and convicting the culprits. The current situation in the fight against corruption in Syunik region was presented in general.
High school students were interested in the possibility of eliminating corruption in general, through the efforts of our state in this regard.
Garik Abelyan answered the students’ questions, which included both the criminal field of the fight against corruption and the civil process of assets recovery.
The students once again reinforced their theoretical knowledge, this time already spicing it with practical skills.
The program is implemented in the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project supported by the Government of Sweden.
