The regular discussion on 3 out of 25 topics of the anti-corruption online training platform was organized in the Lori regional branch of the ALA

On 14 October, 2020, the Lori regional branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association organized a regular discussion on 3 of the 25 topics of the anti-corruption online training platform within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project. Students of the Lori Region Anti-Corruption Club attended the training, (total of 3 participants).

Ms Zarine Hovhannisyan, Lawyer/Program Coordinator of the Vanadzor Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, answered the questions of the club participants, which referred to the previous topics. The purpose of the regular meeting was to discuss the 3 topics of basic anti-corruption training:

  1. National anti-corruption initiatives, legal documents and bodies
  2. Fight against corruption and its stages
  3. Development of anti-corruption policies, monitoring and evaluation

At the end of the discussion the participants asked questions, which mainly referred to the provisions of domestic legal acts, the activities of law enforcement agencies. It was also agreed to attend the next meeting with completed first 15 topics for a general discussion.
