On 30 September, the first remote discussion of the “Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders ” took place on the online platform.
It should be reminded that within the framework of the “Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders” organized by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, more than 120 students and young specialists from all regions of Armenia are currently receiving anti-corruption education.
Mr. Karen Zadoyan, the President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association moderated the discussion. He made an opening speech, during which he welcomed the young people’s desire to receive anti-corruption education, advised them to get the most out of the course, anti-corruption knowledge, and experience and pave their own professional path.
“The future belongs to integrity. Therefore, our objective is one – to develop anti-corruption knowledge and experience,” Karen Zadoyan said.
The participants expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude, emphasizing that they will do everything necessary to participate in the second advanced training phase of the school.
In his welcoming speech, anti-corruption expert Mr. Marat Atovmyan supported the young people, confident that in the future they will have their say in the fight against corruption.
Anti-corruption expert, trainer Ms Syuzanna Soghomonyan mentioned that she is waiting for the advanced training stage, which will give an opportunity to have live communication with the participants, as well as to organize professional discussions.
Mariam Zakaryan, a trainer at the Anti-Corruption School, shared her experience of anti-corruption education with young people, emphasizing its importance in her personal, educational and professional life.
The program is implemented in the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project supported by the Government of Sweden.
