The Armenian Lawyers’ Association was elected a Member of the Police Reform Coordinating Council

The documentary stage of the tender held for the involvement of non-governmental organizations in the individual staff of the Police Reform Coordinating Council has been summed up at the Police.

The Police informs.

As a result of the summary the following applications were found to meet the requirements:

Karen Zadoyan, President of the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO,

Daniel Ioannisyan, Program Director of the “Union of Informed Citizens” Consulting Non-Governmental Organization,

Arthur Sakunts, President of the “Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office, Non-Governmental Organization,

Sergey Ghahramanyan, Co-Founder and Program Coordinator of “Varordi Enker (Driver’s Friend)” Human Rights NGO.

According to the point 18 of the 3rd Appendix approved by the RA Prime Minister’s decision No. 903-A of 6 August, 2020, taking into account that the representatives of four non-governmental organizations complying with the established requirements applied for inclusion in the individual staff of the Police Reform Coordinating Council, the tender was limited to documentary stages. Representatives of these NGOs will be included in the individual composition of the Police Reform Coordinating Council.
