On 3 March, Artyom Mesropyan, CSO Development Programs Coordinator of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, participated in the workshop “Raising awareness of public servants on integrity and corruption prevention” organized by the Council of Europe Office in Armenia within the framework of the Anti-Corruption and Institutional Capacity Building Program in Armenia.
During the workshop, the content of the program and the “Handbook for Improving the Integrity of Public Servants” and “Improving Anti-Corruption Knowledge” was discussed, which after adjustment can be used during the anti-corruption training of public servants.
During the meeting, the ALA representative stressed that the organization attaches great importance to the introduction of the integrity system in Armenia, and had developed an educational module for this purpose. And for already years the organization uses this module for teaching youth the integrity principles in the School for Young Leaders which has been launched for this purpose. At the same time a special module on the topic has been elaborated in the scope of the online training platform for the Internal Capacity Building of CSOs.
