On 20 December, Mr. Artyom Mesropyan, CSO Development Programs Coordinator of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, and a number of NGOs representing the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia participated in a meeting with non-profit organizations organized by the State Revenue Committee.
At the beginning, the activities of the RA SRC Department of Control of the Non-Profit Organizations in 2019 were presented, including the activities of the working group established under the No. 93-A Decree, of the CRS Chairman dated 14 February 14 2019, which can serve as a good example of state-civil society partnership, (more details are available here). Further, the CBA Financial Monitoring Center staff presented the requirements for non-profit organizations in the fight against money laundering and terrorism financing, financing of terrorism by the mentioned organizations, and the criteria for suspicion.
