Narek Yenokyan, a legal expert at the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, spoke to Iravaban.net about the Joint opinion of the Venice Commission on the amendments to the Judicial Code and some other laws, adopted at its 120th Plenary Session, Venice, 11-12 October 2019.
According to him, the Venice Commission has indirectly called on the Armenian authorities to review the first reading of the RA Law on the Corruption Prevention Commission and to form the commission with high standards of independence and to restore the Competition Board.
