“Vetting is a sub-mechanism of the transitional justice system reform mechanism,” Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association said in the interview with “GALA” TV.
According to him a concept should be put into circulation, which does not actually exist, there is only a statement of the Prime Minister about the applicability of vetting.
According to the observation of the President of Armenian Lawyers’ Association, vetting is implemented mainly based on the principle of integrity, which includes 4 sub-components: professional competence, accountability, ethics and anti-corruption behavior.
