“Without a concept, the draft law on vetting will not yield results.” Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association said during a conversation with www.aravot.am.
He reminded that after May 24, when parliamentary hearings on transitional justice were held, it was decided that a concept should be drafted, put into circulation, reach a possibly extended concord with the political as well as extra-parliamentary forces and civil society organizations, and then circulate it among the public.
According to Karen Zadoyan, the public should be aware and understand what transitional justice is, what tools will be used, and what will be the benefits.
