On 23 May, 20019, Mr. Artyom Mesropyan, member of the SRC-CSO working group, created within the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project participated in the discussion on “Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Reporting Standards and Practice”.
During the event, Mr. Luben Panov, Program Consultant of the European Center for Non-for Profit Law from Hungary, presented International standards and practices of non-profit organization’s reporting.
The expert presented the CSO accountability international standards and practices, in particular the examples of Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
During the discussion, Artyom Mesropian, a national expert, informed the participants that on the basis of the proposal submitted to the SRC within the framework of the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project, SRC-CSO working group has been established by the order No. 93 of February 14, 2019 of the CRS Chairman, to discuss issues related to the transparency and accountability of NGOs and foundations and within this framework, active discussions are underway with interested parties on issues included in the agenda of the event.
