Admission to the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders is open for young lawyers under the age of 30 and for students in the 3rd and higher years’ of the law, management and humanitarian faculties of universities, who are interested in the fight against corruption and dissemination of integrity principles, implementation of anti-corruption reforms, as well as issues that can change the anti-corruption environment and culture in the Republic of Armenia.
The students will attend thematic anti-corruption lectures and visit a variety of state bodies, non-governmental, international and business organizations, where they will be provided the opportunity to learn about their anti-corruption activities and application of integrity principles in these bodies.
Well-known experts in the field will teach at the school under the leadership of Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, Coordinator of the Secretariat of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, as well as representatives of relevant bodies and other actors of the sector. The students will also have the opportunity to watch thematic film, perform practical work and studies, as well as individual research that will be distributed with support of the School, publicized and presented to public debates. At the final stage of the school, the students will have the opportunity to disseminate gained anti-corruption knowledge among the youth through public awareness seminars.
The interested individuals should submit their applications, completing the required form by 24:00 on 10 May, 2019. Participants are selected on a competitive basis. Only those who have successfully completed the second stage, the interview, may attend the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders. The second stage consists of oral interviews.
The Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders will be held in Yerevan in the period 15th May till 30 November 2019. Classes are held in the afternoon, taking into account students’ academic and work schedule. If necessary the organizers will provide a reference to submit to the school or the employer.
The study at school is free of charge.
The Organizers will cover the costs for:
