On 29 March, the State Revenue Committee held a discussion on the RA Law “On Non-Governmental Organizations” and drafting reporting forms for the non-governmental organisations.
The members of the working group formed by the by the Decree No. 93-A of the SRC Chairman of 14 February, 2019, including the Ms Syuzanna Soghomonyan, Coordinator of the CSO-Government Dialogue and Mr. Artyom Mesropyan, Expert of the EU Funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project, Mr. Gevorg Hayrapetyan, Head of the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice, as well as representatives of SRC and the State Register of Legal Persons attended the meeting.
The participants of the discussion presented their recommendations about the above mentioned issues.
An agreement was reached that the SRC would present its position on the submitted proposals and will discuss them during the next meeting.
Notably, the mentioned working group consists of 16 members representing civil society organizations (9 representatives from overall 16), and representatives from the SRC, Central Bank, and the Ministry of Justice. 6 from the 9 representatives of CSOs are, from the number of 103 CSOs that have signed the Statement-Standpoint to the SRC Chairman prepared by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project.
