On July 24th, Anush Beghloyan, an expert form the Union of Communities of Armenia, gave a lecture at the Kapan CSO incubator. The topic is “Economy: Poor Level of CSOs’ Participation Mechanisms in Local Growth Strategies and “Smart Community” Initiatives, the Need for Improving, Monitoring, and Advocating for Those Strategies and Initiatives, as well as Ensuring CSOs’ Greater Engagement.”
She noted that in this age of economy based on knowledge not only should urban and rural settlements re-distribute their local wealth, but they should also make investments to improve the quality of their citizens’ lives.
In addition, another expert from the Union of Communities of Armenia Vahram Vardanyan gave personal advice to the Kapan incubator CSOs on project design and fundraising.
