On 25 May, a training in the framework of “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project on “Social Sector: Social Inclusion of Children with Disabilities. Issues of Monitoring by CSOs.” Was held for the participants of CSOs Incubators in Gyumri.
Mr. Khachik Gevorgyan, Executive Director of the Armenian Center for Democratic Education (SIVITAS) conducted the training. He presented and explained information on what the public policy monitoring is, and touched upon the issue why social integration of children with disabilities should be ensured.
The participants asked questions of their concern to the trainer and relieved exhaustive replies. Representatives of 8 CSOs attended the training.
Civil society organizations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing efficiency of their activities.
CSO incubators’ mission is to provide professional and technical assistance to Armenian CSOs to develop their capacities in 9 target sectors and 4 thematic areas listed below:
- Monitoring of Public Budgets and Policies;
- Development of Evidence based policies;
- Creation and/or Development of Coalition,
- Constructive participation/dialogue with the government and local self-governance bodies in public policy development process.
