Today, the session of the Anti-Corruption Council of the Republic of Armenia took place. ALA President, Coordinator of the CSOs’ Anti-Corruption Coalition Secretariat Karen Zadoyan participated in the session as well.
During the session the State Revenue Collection and Health Experts from the Independent Expert Commission adjunct to the Board presented the 33 anti-corruption measures aimed at solution of 19 corruption-related issues of the State Revenue Collection sector and 20 anti-corruption measures aimed at reduction/neutralization of the corruption risks detected in the Healthcare sector in the scope of the RA Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2015-2018.
ALA President, Coordinator of the CSOs’ Anti-Corruption Coalition Secretariat Karen Zadoyan, highly appreciated the work done by the experts and presented some observations. Further, by the recommendation of Karen Zadoyan, the Chairman of the Council President, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan instructed the SRC to carry out a study on the relevance of the introduction of private detectives institute in Armenia in the next six months. The recommendation was submitted by a SRC expert.
The Council approved the anti-corruption programs of two sectors.
It should be noted that the CSOs’ Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia consists of about 90 members and is a member of the Anti-Corruption Council of Armenia.
