On 12 April, the members of “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project met with the representatives of Agricultural Alliance of Armenia
Mr. Hakob Avagyan, the President of SME Cooperation Association and Mr. Artak Manukyan, Expert of the same association facilitated the meeting.
Hakob Avagyan presented the project, its objectives and target areas. Artak Manukyan said that meetings with the representatives of different sectors are being carried out having the aim to raise the issues that exist in the sectors.
This project is aimed at capacity building of the civil society and CSO coalitions. In addition, another important objective is development of the organizations’ skills for effective participation in the processes of the formation of public policies.
This focus group meeting was aimed at raising the issues that exist in the agricultural sector. The Alliance representatives, considered a priority ensuring financial stability. In the interview with us they raised other problems as well.
“Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project is implemented by a consortium of organizations, which consists of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association; “AGORA CE” NGO (Czech Republic), Armenian Center for Democratic Education (CIVITAS), International Center for Human Development Public Organization, SME Cooperation Association, and Union of Communities of Armenia.
