The second phase of the “Strengthening Electoral Integrity and Information Resilience in Armenia’s Regions” project implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, started in Gegharkunik region. Four teams representing the cities of Sevan, Gavar and Chambarak participated in this phase.
The project is aimed at raising awareness on electoral processes, developing media literacy skills, and promoting citizen participation and the culture of electoral integrity in the regions. The project is being implemented in the Shirak, Lori, Gegharkunik, and Tavush regions. The training is particularly helpful for first-time voters in learning about their rights.
During the training held in Sevan, the participants discussed issues related to voter rights, electoral integrity, combating disinformation, and civic engagement. The agenda included both theoretical and practical components in a group work format.
