On March 5, a meeting of the Council of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association was held, attended by the members of the Council to discuss issues related to the Association’s activities, the online media Iravaban.net, membership, and other matters.
The meeting was attended by ALA President and Chair of the Council Karen Zadoyan, ALA Vice President Marat Atovmyan, ALA Council Secretary Arpine Yeghikyan, and Council members Astghik Matinyan and Karen Kocharyan.
Within the framework of the agenda items, a summary report on the activities carried out from January 1 to March 4, 2026 was presented. The activities of Iravaban.net were also introduced, and issues related to membership and membership fees, as well as other matters, were discussed.
During the meeting, proposals were also discussed regarding the organization of professional discussions on legal issues of public significance and ensuring constructive dialogue with the involvement of state bodies, experts, sectoral organizations, law offices, and the media.
As a result, the Council took note of the reports, approved the relevant decisions, and planned the implementation of the proposed initiatives.
