The 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption Kicked Off in Doha

On December 15, the 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) commenced in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The conference will run through December 19.

The forum is attended by high-level delegations from the States Parties, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, as well as academics and experts. Throughout the plenary and side sessions, participants will discuss critical issues related to the global fight against corruption.

The conference provides an essential platform for States Parties to exchange experiences, deliberate on effective mechanisms for anti-corruption policy, and strengthen international cooperation in combating corruption.

Renowned anti-corruption figures, researchers, heads of non-governmental organizations, and government officials from various countries are scheduled to deliver reports and presentations during the event.

The conference also features the participation of Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, General Secretary of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs, and member of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council of Armenia; Marat Atovmyan, Vice-President of the ALA and expert of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs; as well as high-ranking officials from the Republic of Armenia.
