The Network of CSOs for the Protection of Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Artsakh was established on March 12, 2024, bringing together twelve civil society organizations.
Araz Baghdasaryan, director of the “HyeKa” non-governmental organization and a member of the Network, emphasized in a conversation with Iravaban.net that clearly defining objectives and creating systems that will serve these objectives is of paramount importance to them.
“It is no coincidence that we joined the Network of CSOs for the Protection of Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Artsakh. Our collaboration is based on institutional and systematic solutions. We are not looking for temporary or superficial ‘fire extinguishing’ options, but rather strive to offer long-term legal and systematic solutions centered around the Armrights.am online platform for the protection of Artsakh Armenians’ rights,” noted the director of the “HyeKa” non-governmental organization.
Baghdasaryan emphasized that after numerous discussions, they have become convinced that this platform can become a unifying tool founded on the principle of care.
“At this moment, our nation needs precisely these kinds of systems that will offer long-term, institutional, and effective solutions to the challenges we face. Only together—by seeing and supporting one another—can we find the right solutions to our problems. This initiative is another step toward demonstrating care for our brothers and sisters from Artsakh,” said Araz Baghdasaryan.
He particularly emphasized the approach whereby legal support specialists personally visit Artsakh Armenians through regional meetings, thus making legal assistance accessible even in remote settlements.
