Another phase of the whistleblowing awareness campaign concluded on November 29 with two simultaneous training sessions at Yerevan City Hall and the Ministry of Justice.
The campaign launched at Yerevan State University, with experts also visiting Shirak, Gegharkunik, Lori, and Tavush regions. The special stream admission for the Young Leaders Anti-Corruption School also began as part of the nationwide awareness campaign.
Deputy Minister of Justice Karen Karapetyan addressed the attendees with opening remarks, noting that fighting corruption is one of the government’s priorities, and in this context, the whistleblowing system is highly valued.
The Deputy Minister also informed that the one-year cycle of the campaign will soon conclude, during which there has already been more than a 200 percent increase in whistleblowing reports.
