On 20 March, an awareness seminar regarding the educational program aimed at the development of budgetary abilities of young professionals implemented within the framework of the “Budgets for citizens” project (hereinafter referred to as the Project) was held with the students of the Armenian-Russian University.
At the beginning of the seminar, Mr. Zhirayr Aramyan, the Director of the Institute of Economics and Business, welcomed the students and urged them to participate in the educational program and gain important budgetary knowledge.
Project Assistant Ms Anahit Mardoyan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented to the attention of the students the project objectives, target areas, expected results, and also introduced the newly created budgets.am budget knowledge exchange platform. After that the speaker talked about the budgetary training program, presented the training program aimed at developing the skills of young professionals planned within the framework of the Program, emphasizing its advantages, opportunities and results.
Project Expert on Budget Issues Ms Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO, presented the budget component of the Action in more details and urged the participants to participate in the training to obtain a publicly available budget knowledge.
At the end of the seminar, the students interested in the training asked questions regarding the terms of the trainiing, stages and the application procedure.
