On December 2-3 the round table and training “Communication Strategies for Legal Awareness Campaigns” was held in Borjomi City in Georgia. The event for the representatives of the South Caucasus countries was organized by GIZ (German international Cooperation).
Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Board Member of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO made a report at the event as well. He spoke about the experience on raising the legal awareness of the population conducted by ALA and Iravaban.net website. Answering the questions of participants, Mr. Atovmyan introduced the latest developments in the anti-corruption reforms in Armenia.
Participants also discussed the key components of successful strategies, examples of successful campaigns, mechanisms for needs assessment, and the peculiarities of work with mass media and elaboration of PR plans as well.
