Students of the 8th Stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders were again hosted at the ALA: discussing topic “Selection of Merits Based Personnel”

On 11 August, the ALA hosted the students of 8th Stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders. During the meeting, the audience talked about international anti-corruption initiatives and documents, national anti-corruption initiatives, legal documents and bodies, fight against corruption and its stages, as well as development, monitoring and evaluation of anti-corruption strategies.
Mr. Karen Zadoyan, the founder of the Anti-Corruption School, discussed with the participants the effectiveness of the currently implemented anti-corruption reforms, the transparency and reasonableness of personnel elections in the anti-corruption bodies, the existing and future potential problems.
Mr. Zadoyan particularly emphasized the importance of the effective selection of personnel in the field in addition to the development of an effective anti-corruption strategy, noting that the key to success in the fight against corruption is professional, well-behaved personnel with national identity.
