On 5 February, the 5th Conference of the Anti CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as the Coalition) was held online. Welcoming remarks were made by the Coordinator of the Coalition Secretariat Mr. Karen Zadoyan and Member of the Board Ms Arpine Hakobyan.
Further, Karen Zadoyan presented the Coalition’s activity report for the period 09.12.2019-25.12.2020, which, after discussions, was approved by the Coalition’s Conference.
The Conference decided that the Governing Board should consist of 5 members. Accordingly, the following CSOs were elected by the Conference as members of the 5th Governing Board.
- Armenian Lawyers’ Association represented by Mr. Karen Zadoyan
- Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises, represented by Mr. Arkady Sahakyan
- “NGO Center” Civil Society Development NGO, represented by Ms Arpine Hakobyan,
- “Center for Economic Rights” NGO, represented by Mr. Movses Aristakesyan,
- “Armenian UN Association” NGO, represented by Armine Podosyan.
At the end of the conference, the participants discussed the situation in the country, ways to get out of it, the current problems of the Coalition and future activities.
