ALA donated 3 computers to Shirak Marzpetaran through its Shirak regional branch

According to Article 38 of the Constitution, everyone has the right to education.

Taking into account the fact that due to the spread of the new coronavirus in Armenia, and based on to the government’s decree, a state of emergency was declared from 16 March to 14 April, as a result of which the educational institutions were closed, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, through its Shirak regional branch, has offered another support to the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia on distance education for schoolchildren.

The Armenian Lawyers’ Association, through its Shirak regional branch, donated 3 computers to the Shirak regional administration for that purpose.

Thus, 3 students in need of distance education in Shirak region who need the necessary computers will have the opportunity to receive their education through 3 computers donated by the Shirak branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.

Taking into account that due to the spread of the new coronavirus in Armenia, by the decision of the government, a state of emergency was declared from 16 March to 14 April, due to which the educational institutions were closed, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association expresses its readiness to continue supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia on distance education of schoolchildren by donating the necessary equipment and property for that purpose.

Notably, earlier the Armenian Lawyers’ Association provided 5 computers to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, in addition the ALA through its Lori regional branch donated 3 computers to the Lori regional administration. The ALA also donated 4 computers, 3 large and 2 small desks through its Syunik regional branch to the Regional Administration of Syunik marz for the dame purpose.
