On 4 November, 2020, the fourth online discussion of the anticorruption club for students was held in Lori regional branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association. Ms Zarine Hovhannisyan, Lawyer/Program Coordinator of the Vanadzor Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, and Ms Mariam Zakaryan, lawyer, program assistant facilitated the discussion
The students, who were already familiar to each other presented their position on the work of the clubs, their difficulties in the learning process and their successes.
The main topic of discussion was about the anti-corruption institutional system. With the help of the speakers, the students strengthened their knowledge about the anti-corruption bodies operating in Armenia.
Summarizing the knowledge gained from various topics during online training, they outlined the model of the anti-corruption institutional system, which is expected to be available in 2021.
The students enthusiastically announced that they were participating in an essay and drawing competition organized within the framework of the same program and were looking forward to the results.
It should be reminded that anti-corruption student clubs are organized by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project which is implemented with the support of Government of Sweden.
