On 30 October, 2020, a regular meeting on the anti-corruption online training platform within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project was organized at the Shirak regional branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
Ms Gayane Gevorgyan, Lawyer/Program Coordinator of the Gyumri Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, welcomed the participants. This time the discussion of the topic passed in a different dimension, which was dedicated to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan. Parallels were drawn between war, the struggle against it and the consequences. The role corruption plays in such wars, to what extent it destroys the stability of the country and becomes a serious threat to security was presented. The participants expressed their opinion with great attention and enthusiasm, readiness to fight against corruption, to take care of the future of the country as owners of the future.
