High school students from Syunik, Lori and Shirak exchanged views with lawyer, lecturer of the clubs Marat Atovmyan.
The speaker presented the possible ways to fight corruption, after which the students mentioned the ways to fight corruption, which I their opinion were more effective.
The principle of inevitability of punishment, the unwavering will and efforts of the state, which would lead to the elimination of corruption, were important for the listeners of the club.
In this regard, the students highlighted the work of journalists to ensure that corruption cases are made public.
Marat Atovmyan inquired about the students’ opinion on the rules of ethics and anti-corruption behavior. The students mentioned the conscientious behavior of government officials, especially in the judiciary.
The anti-corruption student clubs are operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project supported by the Government of Sweden.
