Regular discussion within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project was organized in the Lori regional branch of the ALA

On 16 October, 2020, the Lori regional branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association organized the regular discussion on the 5 of the 25 topics on the anti-corruption online training platform within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project. Students of the Lori Region Anti-Corruption Club attended the training, (total of 6 participants).

Ms Zarine Hovhannisyan, Lawyer / Program Coordinator of the Vanadzor Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, introduced the selected topics to the participants. Students participating in the program completed their topic questionnaires on the spot.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss the following topics related to basic anti-corruption training:

  1. The 2019-2022 RA Anti-Corruption Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan,
  2. Prevention of Corruption,
  3. Corruption Prevention Commission,
  4. Anti-Corruption Education and Awareness,
  5. Public Involvement in the Fight against Corruption.

At the end of the discussion, the participants expressed their views on the use of domestic measures in the fight against corruption.

The program is implemented in the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project supported by the Government of Sweden.
