Despite the current situation, anti-corruption trainings continue in the ALA regional offices

On 10 October, 2020, the Shirak regional branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association organized a regular discussion on 3 out of 25 topics on the anti-corruption online training platform within the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project. The training was attended by students of the Shirak Region Anti-Corruption Club, college students, a total of 5 participants.

Ms Gayane Gevorgyan, Lawyer/Program Coordinator of the Gyumri Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, thanked the participants for ensuring their presence, and said that the program participants would visit the office in small groups for security reasons. The participants were excited and ready to hold such meetings.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss the 3 topics of the core anti-corruption training, which referred to the national legal documents.

At the end of the discussion, the participants asked their questions, which mainly referred to the international and domestic legal regulations and documents on the prevention of corruption.

The program is implemented in the framework of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project supported by the Government of Sweden.
