ALA has donated 7 Computers to Lori and Syunik Regional Administrations through its Branches in Lori and Syunik

According to Article 38 of the Constitution, everyone has the right to education.

Considering the fact that due to the spread of the new coronavirus a state of emergency from 16 March to 14 April was declared in Armenia by the decision of the government and consequently the educational institutions were closed, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association has submitted its support to the distance education initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.

The Armenian Lawyers’ Association donated 3 computers to the Lori Regional Administration through its Lori regional branch, and 4 computers, 3 large and 2 small desks, 1 TV set and 1 video recorder were donated to the Syunik Regional Administration through the Syunik branch.

Thus, 7 pupils who need to organize their distance education in Lori and Syunik regions and need necessary computers, will have the opportunity to receive their education through 7 computers donated through the Lori and Syunik branches of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.

Considering the fact that due to the spread of the new coronavirus a state of emergency from 16 March to 14 April was declared in Armenia by the decision of the government and consequently the educational institutions were closed, The Armenian Lawyers’ Association expresses its readiness to continue supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia to distance education of schoolchildren, donating the necessary equipment and property for that purpose.

It should be reminded that earlier the Armenian Lawyers Association donated 5 computers to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
