On 20 November, Mr. Artyom Mesropyan, CSO Development Programs Coordinator of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, participated in the EaP CSF Armenia National Platform Conference.
The first session of the conference discussed the topic “Favorable environment for women human rights defenders, journalists, judges, public and political figures” and the second session discussed issues related to the activities of the EaP CSF Armenia National Platform.
The Conference was concluded with the participation of Мs Andrea Wiktorin, Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador. The EU Ambassador Wiktorin encouraged the members of the Platform to constructively support the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement (SAPP) and oversee the overall implementation process, if necessary. The Ambassador also offered the members of the platform to use the agreement as a platform for promoting European values, as well as promoting a credible and professional civil society in Armenia.
