The NSS should not be involved in the fight against corruption, it should be dealt with by specialized services, ”Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, said in the interview with Aravot, referring to the resignation of NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan and the noise round it.
According to him, legislative changes are necessary, after which resignation of the head of the law enforcement body should be prohibited by law. In addition, containment mechanisms are necessary because the availability of enormous information on national security issues in politics is extremely dangerous.
