On 11 June, the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders hosted Mr. Arsen Ayvazyan, Head of the General Department on Combating Organized Crime of the RA Police.
The course discussed the peculiarities of law enforcement agencies while detecting corruption-related crimes, including investigations and preliminary investigation.
The students asked questions to Arsen Ayvazyan regarding how receiving operative information and work with the information obtained. The attendees were also interested in how the law enforcement agencies operate, if the same operative information is realized by the police, the national security service, or other bodies.
According to Arsen Ayvazyan, after the revolution the atmosphere of cooperation and dialogue prevails between the law enforcement agencies.
Participants discussed the peculiarities of “corruption”, “bribery” and other concepts in the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Mr. Karen Zadoyan, the founder of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders, was present at the discussion as well.
